If Madonna helps even one child in this disastrous situation - who cares why she's doing it? As for letting the media document her visits to Malawi, Madonna understands, as did princess Diana, that is the what she can do to bring attention (and hopefully aid) to the problem.

If you haven't seen this documentary you have no right/knowledge to say that this film is about Madonna - because it isn't. It's about the impact of AIDS in Malawi. You have to understand that in today's world, celebrities have a power that other's don't, that is, to draw attention on matters that don't usually get any. When they use their star status to teach people something useful, im ok with that. So instead of criticizing it, watch it first!

yeah thats right, and why Madonna who is overly concerned w/ children in Africa with Aides,then bought herself a $40m dollar home & gave a mere $6-8m to chairty and $70m to an ex, when she owns a few houses already. Her daughters new fashion clothes retailing @ Macy's were made in sweatshops in China- go 2 Macy's & read the labels-Madonna's political message is a sham. Madonna uses other people and artists material to make money.
