Nope, no turbos in any CORR classes. The CORR pro-lites usually have 4cylinders displacing around 2.5 liters and making around 300 h.p. Makes include Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan. The Pro-4 and Pro-2 classes use V-8's getting around 800h.p. Makes include Nissan, Toyota, Chevy and Ford.

r these the same trucks that run the baja just with the suspension stiffened up?

Answer to above: They are similar, but built specifically for short course racing. The suspension travel is a bit less and they corner much better than desert racers. Go see a CORR race this year and you can wander around the pits and talk to the drivers/mechanics and inspect the vehicles -- very fun and worth while -- much easier than trying to follow a desert race!

would be nice but im in europe :-( we dont have that here... so could one take one of these cars, modify it and run the baja with it? they sound like turbocharged subaru engines and the like, the desert racers have v8 right?

There are 5 classes in CORR -- 2 buggy classes have 4 cylinder engines, there is a CORR light with 4cylinder engines (honda, mostly) and the big V8 2wheel drive trucks and the V84wheeldrive trucks. Desert racers race every car engine imaginable -- many classes. The fastest trucks and buggies in desert racing have custom built v8s with 500-850 horsepower. Fast cars!!!!
