The difference is in the quality and effort necessary to do what Bach achieved...May be Eminem does music, also Justin Biever does...the point is the creativnes, and effort put on that, what shows in the tremendous quality and complexity of Bach's masterpieces. No song from Eminem nor other rap singer has the armonic perfection and complexity, and indeed the tremendous creative effort that Bach has.

Oh YES YES YES !!! THIS is how Bach should be played, The musicians are obviously having a ball, practically leaping off the floor with joy. This made me laugh and weep simultaneously.Thank you for brightening up my day !

It requires a vast amount of knowledge and critical thinking to create, play, and understand music such as this. Most modern popular music, however, does not. It's surgically created to sell to and entertain the dumb majority. It's not about creativity, it's about money.

Love this music. The face pulled at 3:25 is a beauty.

In my opinion this movement is one of the best of all Brandenburg Concertos. The music is from the start to the end extremely joyful and when I listen it I feel like it is divine. Best parts are 0:26 - 0:44. Listen to 0:39 when double bass steps in. It's like only one bar, but it gives so much more to this piece. According to my computer, I have listened this piece for 487 times and still counting. It never gets old.

Poorly miked. You can hardly hear the harpsichord. Despite opinions to the contrary, the flute and violin solos are only obbligatos. This is truly a harpsichord concerto! And it's wickedly difficult.

Classical music certainly is more outstanding than pop music, but it is not so with all modern music. There are many metal acts (I'm sure there are plenty of jazz/blues as well, but I'm not familiar with those genres) out there that produce extremely powerful, beautiful, epic and complex music. If you're interested in examples, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Stratovarius, Malmsteen, Rhapsody (of fire), Epica, Iron Maiden, Ensiferum, Wintersun, Astral Winter, Opeth, Dream Theather and Gamma Ray, etc..
