  • @minelekke Can you tell me the name of this song?

  • @AllanGeeRusky Intro - XX

  • Hello, quick question. I have a nikon d7000 and a sb 600 flash, I don't want the built in flash to trigger. How do I change that so only the sb 600 trigger but no the built in flash? THank you

  • @quirogapablo1 This isn't possible as far as I know, Read my respond to sillywabbit92 and you'll see why it won't work or isn't possible, sorry

  • is it absolutely necessary to use the pop up flash?

  • @quirogapablo1 in the commander mode settings set the built in flash to --. It will fire the built in flash to signal the external to fire but will not affect the image lighting. try it without an external on commander you will se it will not affect the photo

  • @sillywabbit92 and @minelekke : my understanding is that when you go into the bracketing and flash menu and set the pop up flash as the commander, you can also set the pop up to " --" (as opposed to ttl etc). this causes the pop up flash NOT to fire while the shutter is open, but before, thus not affecting the picture. this preflash signals the off camera flash and is how the camera communicates with the wireless flash. does that make sense? no infrared unless you have a wizard mounted.

  • short and to the point, great video. Im sick of 10 minute videos for something that takes 10 seconds to do.

  • Ugh. Why doesn't anyone ever talk during these videos? I just need help not loud music. It adds nothing. Explanation does.

  • You are mistaken. The Built-in Flash has to be used to meter the available light and set the remote flash. You can have the Built-in Flash to not fire when the shutter opens by setting MODE to "- -". This will then only fire the remote flash when the shutter opens.

  • @quirogapablo1 =P that's why you need to buy a separate commander unit, if you don't like the light source from the "on camera flash." Say a PocketWizard TT1 for Nikon or Nikon's commander unit, which is SU-800.

  • I love you! I didn't realise that I had to hold multi buttons on my SB-600.

This works almost 100% exactly as my D7000.
