Dry Carbon Wrap. A video showing how resilient the vinyl is to screw ups.

I crumpled a piece of vinyl into a tight ball. As tight as my girly hands could squeeze.

I used a hair dryer, modified with a dry carbon tip (that's a joke) to show you how simple it is to undo the "damage"

Yes, there are a few spots here and there, but that's from a piece that I destroyed, and without using a squeegee to smooth it.

Little screwups here and there while installing are almost always eliminated with a little heat.

hey, just a question, is this the 3m dry carbon?

does the vinyl still retain the adhesive properties after many "do-overs?"

i'm planning on wrapping my side mirrors and if i mess up i want to make sure i can peel it off and try again

@vteccorey i bought real carbon side mirrors, 450 bucks. and they look the same as my mates wraps ones, granted mine are lighter and sronger but i wish id have wraps min and kept the money. this is a great idea and looks well if done correctly

i bought some of this a 24" x 5' roll from jdm-bestboy on ebay for $25 with free shipping. its a better vinyl then the one used on this video. i installed it in my 02 gt and it looks awsome. easy to work with .. great product.. great video bud !!!
