Students analyze excerpts from the White House Press Release immediately following the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The students have been filling out a reading guide which asks them to engage with the document on a variety of levels.

This was part of their preparation for the culminating debate regarding whether or not the U.S. was justified in using the atomic bomb.
