So you still have to use your email account to read .pdf files? I have some scripts written and it would be nice if I could review them using the iPhone without have to always check my email because I'm not sure if it takes up battery life always loading it up.
Already you can get great (and free) ebooks from the App Store. Right now I'm reading 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Dracula'.

No, this is not what I would want - ereader, mobipocket, even microsoft reader type please !

Not bad. But it's still nowhere near good enough. THe screen is too small and once you've experienced the glory of e-ink paper it's hard to get back to traditional screens.
Nice bonus feature for iphone, but killer ebook reader it is not

Hey this is way cooler (and practical)than the Sony eBook reader!!! I was going to purchase one but got discouraged by the price and lack of additional features. The closest gadget that I would want to buy is the Panasonic Wordsgear.
Cheers!

Great, is this possible on the Ipod Touch??? I have 100MVBs of PDF files to read! Can I store them on the Ipod Touch to read it offline ?? Thnk s .
The iPhone does have a lot of potential as a reader, but it has some significant limitations, too. Be sure to read the accompanying notes that I included with the original blog post.
