Dear Matt, I have to disagree with you. I believe the Allure of the Seas is a Great Ship for first timers too, if they are whiling to pay a higher price for their cruise.
For some people a cruise is a lifetime dream-come-true trip, so expend your money at the largest ship, but even if you are planning other cruises in the future, i still recommend it.
