  • didnt the 258's come with TF999 Transmissions?

  • @austinaubinoe truck with 2.73 gears got the 999 because it had a lower first gear. trucks with 3.31 gears got the 727. 3.31 gears were used in the towing package, so it made sense to use the beefier 727.

  • How much did you buy your J10 for? I am looking into buying one! Are they worth a lot more because they are rare?

  • I paid 4650 for this 82, and a lot of other Full Size Jeep'ers think I overpaid. Of course I was willing to pay a bit more than normal for a clean truck because they do not exist up here in New Hampshire anymore, they have all rusted into the ground. I would say for a nice J-10 you should expect to pay anywhere from 3500-6500 bucks, depending on how long you wait for a deal. Watch ebay in 'Jeep' - 'Other' to get an idea for thier value.

  • @Kalika548 cool! yeah the 727 is really beefy. I have a 1991 GW with a 360 backed by the 727.

  • Awesome truck I've been looking for this kind of truck but never any luck

  • Nice
