The Corvette (especially C6 platform) is actually a good handling car. You can rip on it all day for it's interior, plastic bumper, etc but until you actually drive one and stop using Top Gear as the holy grail for all that is car you won't be making any kind of objective statement.
I own a 2011 M3, yes, own, and I still think the Corvette is a great car. It has lots of power, handles extremely well, and is very predictable at it's limits. I give respect where it's due and the Vette is awesome.

American's love to go on about the Corvette, big engine, fast and good looking but I'm sure it doesn't handle as well as a BMW or an equivalent. I prefer the Cadillac CTS-V, that's a seriously cool car. Bring more of those to Britain please.

I love how Americans always pull out the corvette. Good car granted but not premium, not refined, not efficient and certainly not my kind of vehicle.

My goodness kagolko. Quite a mouth there mouthapotamus. Yeh, the top contenders in family sedans beat all the dedicated sports cars, eh? Hey, I guess you can add the Cadillac CTS-V to your list of cars that outperform the Corvette, since it bested the newest M5 at Nurburgring recently.
I never said anything about the displacement. That's you guy's sore point. The Vette rides better than these, gets better mileage, is faster, handles as well, and is roomy too. That I quite understand.

c5 and c6 are not 3.0 engines. I'm really sick and tired of Americans blabing shit constantly about something they don't quite understand. go and compare your sissy c6 with with RS6. RS6 will fuck it all the way. so will the m5 and m6. you should really think before you say something stupid like that.
