Red Sox Suck - Yankee Stadium Curse Reversed

Construction workers at the new Yankee Stadium unearthed a David Ortiz jersey that was buried at the stadium's foundation by a worker who is a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan. His Motive: To lay a curse on the Yankees and the new stadium. The worker, hired by Turner Construction, worked at the new stadium for only a day, but was able to gain access to the Yankees new locker room under construction, where he was able to bury the jersey in concrete.

In the end however; Yankee fans had the last laughs.

The jersey was shipped to Massachusetts where it was put up for auction on ebay to support the Jimmy Fund. It sold on apirl 24 for $175,100.
