Phil Wong is a long-time Arizona CCW instructor, and has been trained in a variety of self-defense approaches. He served as one of the assistant instructors at Massad Ayoob's MAG-40 class in Phoenix, November, 2010.
Here, Mr. Wong outlines his lethal force EDC system as part of his overall EDC approach. See the videos on his non-lethal and flashlight EDC.

@irishScott2 It might be less of where he lives, and more of what he does for a living that shapes his carry habits. His job involves being ready to respond to criminal activity.

@Cr0cket20 I'd been leaning toward a combo blade, but Beachhead's Recon1 just lost some teeth on green bamboo. Trying to touch up serrations is a pain, even with my Lansky serration sharpener. So for Christmas I think I'm going to ask for an Endura FFG with no serrations.
