These comments below are from a typical so called owner /trainer...or a wind up merchant...all of them deny the atrocities that go on ....all of them say they dont make money "yer whatever" most of them say they look after their dogs when they retire yes 20% do thats true but 80% abandon their dogs when they are too old at 3/4years or carry injuries....This is from a typical owner in denial and they will never admit any thing .MOST People are in greyhound racing for the MONEY MONEY MONEY

It isn't until I adopted an ex-racer and started looking into what really happens at these tracks. Greyhounds are the most loving breeds of dog. This'sport' should be banned. The pictures are distressing but someone has got to publish and make people aware of the truth. Such a small number of ex-racers are adopted. thousands of dogs/pups are killed before even making it because they were not good enough in the first place. RSPCA will not regulate as Greys are classed as cattle! Please adopt x

@SAVEGREYHOUNDS Breeding for racing should be banned!And yes most trainers should never be allowed to keep these beautiful dogs in the first place..When he cant run and make you money you throw him away like trash...So wrong!My Boy came to me bald..underweight...heavily scarred..i am proud to say he is a different boy altogether now and i would never be without him...how many trainers can say that..

These horrific photos were not representative of the dogs at the rescue kennel that I adopted my greyhound from this last weekend. The cases shown hear are breathtaking in there abuse and will take a special kinda person to heal and rehabilitate these dogs but should not dissuade the average person from going to a rescue kennel or from adopting the average greyhound. So far it's as if I adopted a 70 pound house cat, does he ever stop sleeping?

This is just wrong to do this to any animal or human ,what sick piece of shit would do this ,why is it when man can't make money of something ,there first thought is to kill it .Gray hounds have feeling too, all animal can feel pain ,hunger ,love just like any human. This just makes me sick that the human race or so cruel to animals .
