iPad 8??? You mean "i stole this from Jeff Han Pad 8" Take a closer look at the DATE of this video..... This "Minority Report" display was in existence before the idea iPhone was even conceived! Google "Jeff Han on Ted talk" in 2006 and see the reaction of the people when he demo a smaller version of the display.

Don't get me wrong, huge touch screens surely have their uses for people in specific fields. Interactive strategic map in a military command post, for example. I'm just saying this isn't the technology to replace mouse+keyboard.

@AddictiveDissolve its generally easier, more intuitive and allows multiple people to use it at once. But its not just that, the software is amazing. How many map software can you get that lets you mark up the map and saves it?
