PS2 MLB 07 The Show - NLCS - Giants defeat Mets

The San Francisco Giants, under my control, are one out away from advancing to the World Series. Moises Alou steps to the plate to face Armando Benitez in the top of the ninth at AT&T Park, though it is not a save situation (the score is 13-1... guess I got lucky). Includes celebration after the final out and play of the game highlights.

I also apologize for the "hot" audio. Guess I was too caught up to check the technicalities of it all.

It's not unlike when Michael Jordan "disappeared" from NBA games for a while, Barry Bonds withdrew from the MLBPA for marketing reasons, so fake players took his spot in MLB games (also see Jon Dowd and Joe Young).

The idea of recording these didn't occur to me until I was starting to finish my NLCS, and it would've been a great idea in retrospect. It's also the only celebration that doesn't end in a homoerotic pileup near the mound.

I do remember that I faced the wild card Cardinals in the NLDS, they were a game or two back of the Dodgers for the WC, and I just happened to play LA that final weekend. I did everything I could to make sure I swept those ducking Fodgers! :P
