I think you are too afraid to admit that this miracle is divine, because that would prove that your own faith is FALSE.
Why would a miracle be BOTH the work of the devil AND help to bring people to Jesus? You don't seem to know which to choose...And how could ONE alternative NOT be beneficial or MORE Christian than the OTHER?
You seem to assert that BRINGING people to Christ is NOT God's intention OR a GOOD thing...

Interpretation of the Bible is one of the most IMPORTANT aspects of Christianity.
God used parables and metaphors in order to make us think LOGICALLY and COHERENTLY about life and creation. He didn't give us PURPOSE just so we could BLINDLY follow some RIGIDLY set path...He wants us to FIND the path...
Things are not as SIMPLE as you attempt to make them out to be...Besides, I would like for you to give some examples on HOW the Orthodox Church has distorted scripture.

Lol, Christian doctrine isn't finite. We learn about God by living every day as he would. We understand him more and more. To simply assert that we know all his teachings and miracles from the Bible and ONLY the Bible is utter nonsense...
Besides the fact, you seem to know very little about the very Bible that you profess to ADHERE to.

Don't be a hypocrite. Actually go and read the bible, understand God's teachings and stop attempting to discredit one of His most holly miracles (a sin against the Holly Spirit, which is considered one of the UNFORGIVABLE sins) and actually realize that Orthodoxy has PRESERVED Christianity...Not distorted it like the pedophile, crusading Catholics or the radical, extremist and often times FASCIST Protestants.
How many variations of Protestants and Evangelicals are there?
