I walked the length of the Saturn V Rocket at a normal pace to give you an idea of just how big it is.

I can't seem to submit comments, so I wanted to thank folks for commenting. You can see my other space posts at http://www.rv-103.com/?cat=98

  • This particular Saturn V is in Houston TX. There are only three remaining Saturn V or "Moon Rockets" left: this one, Kennedy Space Center, and Huntsville Alabama. And yes, they are real!

  • Is this a replica? and where si this?

  • Just wanted to point out that the narrator incorrectly identifies the second stage engines as F-1's. The F-1 was the first stage engine - the big mothers at the bottom of the rocket you see starting at 2 minutes. These are the engines that beat the Soviets to the moon.

The second stage was powered by 5 x J-2 engines.

    Otherwise, great video.

  • great footage
