I like the studio produced one on the "Best Chistmas Album in the World... Ever" a little better than this track, but his two renditions are better than anyone else's.

Beautiful rendition!!! I'm gonna get many complaints for this, but his english accent comes out strongly on this.

If there's a better version of this song anywhere, I sure don't know it.
Too bad this version is hard to get to on youtube. It should be more widely heard.

I think it must be a misprint. In The Bleak Midwinter. It's a traditional English song which goes back to the 19th Century. If you Google "In The Black Midwinter" it will say "did you mean In The Bleak Midwinter."
Also, if you listen to what Bert's singing he quite clearly says "Bleak" and not "Black."
