to change the Dram voltage you need to go to AI tweaker or something
but it isnt there at my bios.
and my Dram is over powered and gives me the bluescreen 0x00000109...
how to get it open?

hey i have the same mainboard and a Q9550 on it.
can i put the cpu on 3.4GHz stable ??
i only use 800MHz Ram , so i won't get higher than FSB400MHz =3.4GHz
is it possible on that MB
just asking b4 i try it out.....
thanks in advance

this is so confusing... there's no cpu multiplier that means you cannot actually change the multiplier of the cpu..... Hey man can you please examplain the CPU RATIO, FSB FREQ, and FSB STRAP???
Tnx..... you can send me a message if you'd like

Is the ASus PQ-E compatible with the newer Q9550 processor with the E-0 stepping technology?
Hi
I'm am about to buy a Asus P5Q-E together with a Q9550 and Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4DHX DDR2,4096MB Kit w/two CL4. I'm not into overclocking but would like to at least reach 3,2GHZ on each core of the processor. What do you think for such a small oc, is it enough to only change the FSB from stockspeed to 400Mhz (8x400= 3200)or are some other changes required and in that case what would they be?
Thanks
Isak

Yes you could just change the fsb to 400, that will work fine. You might also have to increase your voltage a tiny bit, but thats no big deal. You might want to also think about getting an aftermarket cpu cooler too.

Thank you for your quick answer.
I forgot to tell you that i'm also bying a OCZ Vendetta 2 (Cpu cooler), would that be a sufficient cooler for overclocking a Q9550? Do i have to change any memory-settings so that i don't damage the "Corsair modules" and in that case what would the changes be? What is the original voltage for the cpu and what does "increase your voltage a tiny bit" mean in real numbers? (pardon my english, i'm only a hardrocker from sweden)
Thanks
Isak
