@deesies I feel exactly the same. There is a magic to the original Shenmue that is simply wonderful. I fell in love with the game/Yokosuka while round a mates house. I ran out and bought a Dreamcast purely for Shenmue! It was the perfect setting. Wonderful game and memories. I still play it now and then and I always enjoy it hugely : D

There was just something about walking around a sleepy little village where everyone knew your name that really made Shenmue 1 really enjoyable for me. Something I felt was missing in Shenmue 2. Not to say I didn't like Shenmue 2, you could say it really captured the feeling of being another land where you know nobody and are completely on your own now.

Its probably better than Yukuza, but I have never played Yukuza.... I just know Shenmue is the best game ever made in my opinion.

My Japanese isnt good enough to translate.
The most importend in this video are the
unused Scenes like the bikecycle or the QTE
with that drunken man.
