Star Ruler offers freedom of choice unlike any other 4X space RTS did before. Newtonian physics, objects orbiting around stars and planets, an easy-to-learn-hard-to-master ship design editor and free ship scalability are only a few of the unique features it has to offer. Utilizing the Irrlicht engine, the game offers more than adequate graphics that don't distract from running an interstellar empire, and a fantastic soundtrack by Artem Bank ensures a unique, captivating atmosphere.

The Galactic Armory Mod Project strives to improve and expand upon the base game; not where it is possible, but where it makes sense. The features include, but are not limited to:
Revisited balancing (especially Armor, Repair Bays and Shields)
30+ New Subsystems
Fighter/Bomber overhaul with equipment specific to them
New Graphics and Sound Effects

  • @GameRock123 The last release before 1.7 was patch 1.6.5 (released April 18th) for SR 1074. Each release, is only compatible to the specified Star Ruler version.

    Due to the massive amount of new features, development of 1.7 took longer than originally planned, but if had you checked the official mod thread you would've seen that this mod is very much alive and in development. I still highly recommend joining the Star Ruler forum.

    P.S.: English isn't my first language, either.

  • @GameRock123 3) What about our updates is "glitched"? You are making accusations, not helping us to locate issues.

    4) I am fairly certain you did not even bother to make yourself knowledgeable about who the "creator" of this mod is.

    5) I haven't seen you posting on the official Star Ruler forum. If you are indeed interesting in the mod, I highly recommend registering there and posting in the official mod thread, to which I linked in the description of your video.

    6) Spelling, anyone?

  • @GameRock123 On the off chance that you are not trolling, I will answer this as good as possible:

    1) What exactly about this mod is unplayable? We have a dedicated team of testers that would have noticed any game-stopping issues. The latest release is 1.7. If you are, in fact, trying to play the heavily outdated 1.3 release with the latest Star Ruler version, IT WILL NOT WORK. Download the latest mod release instead.

    2) Mod has been released for every version of Star Ruler since initial release.

  • @DMSGW1988 That is actually something that has been fixed in the current release. For some reason, celestial bodies hat 10 times their normal HP. Blowing up planets and stars has become easier again! :D
