$140 with a 24 moth warranty? Do another video after 10 years of hard use with the Fenix. Im sure that SureFire stopped making these lights long ago and just selling inventory. What would the point of having sf's warranty program and making updated lights every time a minor improvement comes along. It would be a logistical nightmare to provide the service they offer for what would be 1000+ models. Use your sf until its done. Replace with an updated model. No consumerism involved

I love the 2nd amendment as well. Police are usually too far away to wait on them to defend you though. I don't encourage violence either, but strongly encourage lawful self-defense for the common man/woman :) I carry 98% of the places I go. I sleep a few nights a week with a gun near me, just gotta guess which nights ;)

Hell yeah, I have a 2D MagLED that's survived a TON of abuse and is still perfectly fine. Why they can't seem to engineer the AA lights is beyond me, which sucks, because I like the AA lights form factor. The reliability and structural engineering just ISN'T THERE with their AA MagLED's.

@QuadniverousBeast aye damned right. the big d's are good, but not awesome for a flashlight used worldwide.
-
@jimmyhoffa9 Good point, ALL of the Maglite AA led's I've tried have had HORRIBLE reliability, even the new ones with the Luxeon Rebels. The XL's seem alright, haven't tried them, but the MagLED AA's absolutely SUCK.

Im with you on this! I was always a big fan of surefire until a friend of mine turned my on to Fenix...Surefire is WAY OVER priced for what they are putting out these days. You are just paying for the name.....Kinda like Polo t-shirt's..they are just cotton tshirts like any others but you are paying the extra $40 for the name and i guess the little horsey!!!
I have never seen a light quite like the TK35 IN my opinion. I believe it is a true 820 lumens. I have a light rated at 200, 500, and 820. While all three are bright, there is a noticable difference in the three. Huge difference.

Well I never see anyone address the durability of the light. I have a old G2 incandescent that's been through hell and back and still works like new. Neither one of those Fenix lights are anywhere near the lumen rating that they are giving those lights. They're decent lights, but remember you get what you pay for. Surefire is pricey, but their lumen rating is dead on, if not modest, and they're nearly indestructible.

im not concerned about lumens. surefire way underrates compared to everybody else and that pretty common knowledge, but their prices are highway robbery. i guess better customer service cost 150-250 dollars extra for a comparable light

@joeratti good point. I think they will have to come down in there prices.
