Sonic Crackers - alternate Sega logo screen - casual gameplay

This was an old video I recorded for a website called "Sonic-CulT" a number of years ago... I had gotten a programmable flash cartridge, and I was trying out a bunch of different ROMs (fangames on physical hardware are fun, especially MegaMix).

The Crackers ROM freezes shortly after the TMSS screen, but if you mash the Start button, you can get it to load. I noticed when I would press the Reset button, a different Sega Logo animation occurred (this is what prompted me to record the video in the first place; when Sonic CulT was trying to expand and gain more content, every little bit helped).

I played Knuckled Chaotix on the 32x into the GROUND back in the day, so adapting to Crackers' jump/hold 1-button dynamic wasn't too difficult... EITHER character can hold/throw the other, so it's a little irritating. I'm glad they separated the two commands in Chaotix.

[wow, thinking back on it... I recorded this on a PowerMac 6500 with Avid Video Shop lol I miss 90s macs :3 )
