  • That's a pretty ignorant statement.

I've spoken to her... and she is actually deaf. She doesn't hear like normal people, or even normal deaf people for that matter.

Please dont be ignorant when you blankly address the internet. It makes you look foolish and stupid.

  • i think she's good enough a musician to warrant a discussion without mentioning "deaf" once in a while.

  • @molsmusic1 It so simple that Evelyn could do with a great act and pretend deaf,

I don't BLOODY have a big problem and you're wasting yourself time, And I feel pity for you

  • pepsico...try to type evelyn glennie into google and read WIKIPEDIA. Thank goodness I also belong to that area where her family live and know the truth. Just enjoy her music pepsico because at the end of the day the world knows the truth and your sad opinion really isn't very important. Have you listened to her play Maple Leaf Rag isn't that talent just fantastic enjoy it pepsico life is too short to worry about stupidity.

  • She is definitely not deaf she never was

  • I would not begin to get into a battle with you pepsico.....you do have a big problem which we can only feel sorry for you, but as a neighbour to this girl I can confim she is....now listen to the word pepsico, DEAF, but what a wonderful musician and that is the part which is important.

  • she never was deaf and that a FACT

  • as someone who lives in the same area as she grew up I can assure you she is DEAF. but a wonderful musician.

  • She is profoundly deaf but can play through sensing vibration. She talks normally because she became deaf only at the age of 12 through illness

  • She's hard of hearing.....She says she profoundly deaf...its the same thing...if she said she was deaf...then who's to stop her from playing?

  • I agree with podum77 she is not deaf
