I believe the first part is not too slow, but sometimes too fast, but i agree, the second part has a great tempo.
And about perfecting it, I think it is greatly played, it communicates emotions, and the control of the notes and the tempo is great, but of course there is ALWAYS something better you can do, even Albert Brendel never will play perfecctly.

Back of the pedal some...took me 6 weeks to read and memorize this tune.
Not bad...the first part is too slow. Nice tempo on the second part. Sounds like you're still perfecting it.
