On stage , you realised that during " Snowy wish " which was soft and gentle , she sang well .But with songs that need dance moves , she sings unstably . She is not like Jessica or Taeyeon who have big voices . Her voice is unique and very soft and gentle .

@Jbmcfmc1428 But to me she sounded quite good with while singing 'the boys' Dunno its really difficult to judge especially with her having so little parts but I guess sm not letting her singing live while doing joint/solo stages is a hint, that she isnt able to pull it off yet.

yoona have sweet voice she can sing very well on stage :) but sometime coz she work hard more than others make she so tired and make her voice is not stable. (poor yoona have little sleep time) However she always smile she always pretty and funny she is a good person she got talent she is goddess i love her drama ,dancing and singing I always love everything is her :) YOONA FIGHTING!!!!

personally, i dont mind her voice, i mean.. i would think its sweet if she sang me to sleep, she is a better singer then me for sure. But to be honest, she CANNOT sing at professional level, especially since SM trained her for a decade,so..thats pretty bad even my karaoke friends sing better then her, thus ppl do have the right to say she cant sing since she is indeed a SINGER. I truly believe her field is acting, there are bad actresses who can actually sing that needs to switch places with her

..not going to fool myself and say she's a good as the hardcore singers. she needs to practice more, and she needs to be put on the spot more...so that she will be pressured to improve. (definition of singer = celine dion, christina aguilera, whitney houston, beyonce, etc. the main vocalists of snsd can cover the songs of these artists very well, hence they are also earn the title of "singer")

after watching this, the most i can say is she can sing. BUT just because she can sing doesn't mean she is a singer. (3...2...1...all the hate in the world comes rushing forth. please let me explain) when i say SINGER, i mean capable of modulation, dynamism, stylizing, and giving depth to a song. she has very little vocal technique, she wouldn't make the cut in a hardcore music school. as simon cowell would put it...it would probably be a karaoke performance. yoona is actually my bias, but i'm..

@Karigan90 the reason why she sang her line in the boys well is because she sang at the start of the song. she wasn't tired from all the dancing yet. if you notice the main vocalists don't give as much power to the dance because if they do they will get tired and then they will definitely fall flat when the sing.
