Its a shame that Mother 4 will never happen. SRSLY GUYS! Do you think they are actually going to make another one, maybe an american release on the 3DS but that's it. Shigato Itoi is done. BrownieBrown is done. Nintendo was doing a halfassed job and just riding on the Former's (Shigato and BB) success, so they won't even try. The series is dead, there's nothing we can do about it.*sigh* just don't dislike the truth guys. The series was great while it lasted, and we should be thankful for that...

@Cherryblossoms13100 Shigesato Itoi's done with the series, but he's not opposed to the series continuing out of his hands. Even if the series is completed, it's good that it left on a high note. Also, Brownie Brown is a Nintendo-owned studio, so I don't see how Nintendo was doing a halfassed job.

@PaperLink64 1.Sega is currently a Nintendo owned studio(in the form of Sonic team)Are you saying that it was nintendo's fault that the majority of sonic games are trash? (Excluding Colors, Generations, and the handheld games)

2.Every single fanmade mother game that I have come across wasn't worth the time put into it. the writing for the fan mades are either mediocre at best or total crap. Songs are just hrrible remixes of good songs from 3.

3.The world ending isn't a highnote 4me.

@Cherryblossoms13100 Sega is a third-party developer. Learn the difference between first-party studios like Brownie Brown and third-party developers like Sega before you make mistakes.

By continuations, I meant an official Mother 4 from Nintendo, not fanmade games of course.

And by high note, I meant the series ended with possibly its best entry.

@Aunpaidintern Well it is a fan-game and you really cant expect it to be as good as the official MOTHER series can you? And there is nothing anyone can do about fans claiming it's the not end of the MOTHER series can you? Nintendo doesn't really give a shit about what MOTHER fans do, they didn't stop the MOTHER3 fan translation and their not gonna stop this, this isn't like Square-Enix with Chrono Trigger

@dylanneill Well for fans or not, it's probably going to suck. They're using Mother 3's plan, the music is uncreative and doesn't meet up to the standards of the OFFICIAL Mother games. And if you're going to call someone arrogant I suggest you use it in its right context. I hope that Nintendo stops this. Or at least for fans to stop being "Hey there's going to be a Mother 4 so this isn't the end of the Mother series." Ya it is. Once again, I hope Nintendo stops the project.

@Cherryblossoms13100 I just wanna say people are makeing Mother 4 and if you prefere the main company makeing it then sure.The reason why Mother wasn't so successful is because they didn't handle it well, the game was barely even heard of. People are trying to bring it back. But I fear it'll be not as good as the others because Shigesato Itoi wont be makeing the story. I think Nintendo dose not understand Mother but I think Nintendo has a "Plan" with Mother. They wont stop Mother 4 (Fan game)...
