  • Bedordshire system is not the American NextBus. I believe they spell it N.E.X.T.B.U.S. I don't know for what the letters stand.

  • They have the Nextbus system in Bedfordshire England and it's rubbish.

    A total waste of money.

The GPS machines on the buses are fine it's the inability of the Nextbus software to feed the information to the net.

  • Amazing!!!

  • Ive just looked this up because ive just got off a bus here in Christchurch New Zealand. Theyve got an excellent technology like this here, I just used my phone to see when the next bus would arrive, and theyve got electronic signs at the bus stop. I think the company that supplied it was called Connections, or similar. Great technology.

  • Why doesn't VTA have this? MUNI has it, AC Transit has it on some of its routes, as does the Emeryville-Go-Round.

  • andrew lynnn u r great!!..thanks for the link

  • Amazing! I hope this spreads quickly to all transit systems.
