@hamajangz Crack up. I think thats me your talking about actually they are rodents in our ngahere, pigs. The whanau caught some and saved the jaws/tusks for us. Some of the ahua and way they're presented in this haka are old school. Outside of seeing them performed by kaumatua/kuia next best is video archives from early 1900's of tipuna performing 'their' style of haka, very different to the always aggressive style of today. This is a saying from a tohunga haka: Me kanikani te katoa o te tinana
@hamajangz For someone with Spam for brains and no culture here you go... There were two types of war haka - one performed without weapons, usually to express public or private feelings, known as the "haka taparahi", and the war haka with weapons, the "peruperu". It was to invoke Tumatauenga, the god of war, and warned the enemy of the fate awaiting him. It involved fierce facial expressions and grimaces, poking out of the tongue, eye bulging, grunts and cries, and the waving of war weapons.
Eh shaddap you, it looks like they were goofing off a bit. And i was wondering why some of the fellas have dead rodents around their necks. Don't be so sensitive it was all in jest.

Before you make an idiotic response, learn first about the culture or even the background if you want to invoke a sincere response. Muppet.
