Il documentario che presentiamo è un progetto unico, rivolto al pubblico di tutto il mondo. Si tratta di un documento straordinario ottenuto attraverso viaggi in Africa, in Brasile, in U.S.A., in Corea ed in Europa e che rappresenta momenti importanti della vita pubblica e privata di S.E.R. Mons. Emmanuel Milingo. Il Milingo più intimo ed inaspettato si confessa ripercorrendo le principali tappe della sua vita e del suo viaggio apostolico: da bambino pastore ad Arcivescovo di Lusaka, da carismatico guaritore danime allombra del Vaticano al matrimonio con Maria Sung. Il rapporto con Giovanni Paolo II, lo scontro con il potere del Vaticano, la battaglia per labolizione del celibato sacerdotale e lo strappo di Washington con la consacrazione di quattro Vescovi. Le immagini più inedite, i momenti più forti della sua attività di esorcista e guaritore rappresentati come in uno straordinario e complesso mosaico al fine di svelare la personalità delluomo di Chiesa più discusso del mondo.

The documentary that we introduce is a unique project, dedicated to the audience of the whole world. A complex personality like that of Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo arouses many questions. Who is he really? Is he a mystic like Father Pious or a revolutionary like Martin Luther? Which is his true mission and why he took sides for the abolition of the priestly singleness? Does he really have the intention to provoke a schism with the intent to create a new Church? Is the marriage that has contracted valid and who is really Maria Sung? Which are the relationships with Reverend Moon who declares himself the second Messiah?
The Archbishop Milingo, exorcist and healer, have gotten ourselves used for years to hear about him. Now with the consecration as bishops of four married priests he is definitely put himself out of the Church and he has been excommunicated. It has been a solemn and public excommunication.
From this event the documentary titled Emmanuel Milingo, in which testimonies and unpublished images from Italy and Africa, from USA and Brazil to Korea are collected, takes its origin. The most intimate and unexpected Milingo is confessed, passing through the principal steps of his life and his apostolic journey: from shepherd child to Archbishop of Lusaka, from charismatic healer of souls on the Vaticans shadow to the marriage with Maria Sung, from the battle for the abolition of priestly singleness to the tear of Washington with the consecration of four Bishops.
