Christian missionaries destroy culture.

A striking example of how christianity destroys a proud culture, by introducing "doubt". The christian body is imperfect, we are "sinners". These beautifull people learn for the first time, that their behaviour is a "sin". A bigger psychological desastrous impact is the fictious idea of the christian afterlife, their current world is a place of sin, they are sinners, the "real life" will start in the afterlife. Makes me think what proud people we could be, if we could remove the christian doctrine of imperfectness of the body.

dude it does't matter if they were christan or jews, they did not convert anyone to their religion, the love of christianity only brought multiculturism, and that is a bad thing, why do you think tokugawa ieyasu banned christianity from Japan? why do you think so many people think witchcraft is evil and all that stuff, society is what it is today (a load of brainwased sheep) because of christianity or islam, and TV programming, and media.

@jin54363 in Nepal and India you can see so many schools, hospitals started by missionaries,not by any other people,this is fact around the world,most of the cities will have school names starts like Saint Peter's, Saint Anns, Baptist Mission.. school and so on,people from all religions are studying there not only christians,i think this is the way to give people education not with just meditation,so many people got education through christian schools and colleges,just see people around u

@jin54363 population growth,massive industrialization and uncontrollable polution is decreasing peoples health not missionaries,around the world missinaries are the people who shared the education for somany people,it brought light to their lifes,Japan's major religion is buddism(60%-70%),i think Buddism is not a japanees religion,if buddism can go from nepal to japan why not christianity?the urge for acquiring power over pacific worstened conditions in japan in moderen times,not missionaries

i compare population in classical ages, not in middle ages where everything turned dark.

and actually it was the missionaries and the inquisition that brought this darkness into people's lives, ignorance and arrogance, this caused hunger and disease.

in classical ages, people had better condition than middle ages, and in Japan feudal time, they already had dentists and higiene conditions.

@Smitalovesyoga please know why people leaving hinduism,first know about sati,untouchability,child marriages,subjugation of woman and all other attrocities are part of that grate culture,after christianity came to India indian society changed so much, sati was abolished by William Carry(a missionary)and Rammohan Roy in the 1834,dalits got entry into temples,villages and society once christianity came to india,education was made accessible to all castes only through schools started by them only
