  • Great demo! I prefer the tone of the MXR. Seems a little richer and warmer sounding.

  • I am posting because I have own tons of phasers in my lifetime. These are my 2 favorites and the only ones I have kept. To me, they are 2 different beasts entirely. If you want a more trasparent subtle phasing while retaining the purity of your natural tone? The MXR suits this purpose very well. If you want more of a colored phasing tone with tons of warm character? The Small Stone does it for me better than anything. I could not live with out either of these,

  • Both are great, the MXR is just more polite-sounding but both are beautiful.

  • Both sound good but the Small stone has a little more I think, better presence.

  • They both sound good.

  • I have not tried the MXR but the Small Stone I have seems hard to replace.
