  • I think Im lucky because I saw them for the first time ever this year and Daryl was all over the place. Nothing like all of these recent vids on youtube with them playing in a corner haha

  • @alphaguitar2 i understand that position, and i ain't judging. i love GJ and Daryl regardless if he looks at the audience or not. I guess i'm just expecting him to be the way he was when i saw them in 07, he was all over the stage and seemed to be enjoying himself.

  • @cord603 A lot of people get on daryls back about his stage attitude but maybe hes just more introverted about his music and enjoys playing with his band no matter who they're playing for.

I don't really think its bad or wrong to put a focus on your own art rather than the people who listen to it, even if they are the ones that support your living, thats really just a bonus, art is a pretty selfish thing actually when you think about it.

Because you can only create it for yourself.

  • I totally what you mean on all matters you adressed.

  • i miss the old darryl, its almost weird seeing thise cause it's been so long. I have this image of them from 8 years ago so i guess thats why its weird.

Music still sounds great, but i feel todd is missing and it would complete the sound if he was still around.

  • i wish Daryl was facing the audience more and had more crowd interaction, such a shame, everyone seemed to be yellin the lyrics. the band sounds great.

  • If image is a factor in liking a band, then they aren't good enough. Glassjaw's music is too good for anything else to matter. If you can close your eyes at a show and the performance is good, then that is what counts. Hail Satan 666.

  • Deftones + GJ is the best tour. You got that right. And I really enjoyed Todd as an additional guitarist. He had good stage presence, and definitely rounded out the sound. BUT, I can live without him at the same time.

  • oh shit! they played el mark?!! fuckin' old school GJ at it's finest.
