Sixties Cheesecake Dance No. 8

PLEASE READ THIS - This is the first of three clips from "Teseo contro il minotauro" (The Minotaur - 1960), an Italian sword and sandal epic starring Bob Mathias, who won a gold medal in the decathlon at the 1948 London Olympics. The film was directed by Silvio Amadio, and also starred Rosanna Schiaffino, Alberto Lupo and Rik Battaglia.

Our hero here may be a decathalon winner, but he looks like Steve Reeves or Alan Steel could kick his little fanny for him. My bets are on the minotaur.

I post a tribute to Rosanna Schiaffino, died today 17 ott. 2009. She was the lovable starring of many sword and saldal movies.

I would like to find a clean DVD copy of the Minotaur. All I can find is a very substandard copy of a VHS tape with poor audio and deteriorating video signal.

The director was my grandfather. In Italy I cannot find this film, I didn't even know about the existence of an English version... It's amazing.
