Here's a little advice.
Your bassist is to loud, he needs to lower his amp A LOT.
It needs a simple drum beat switching between a groove with the hi-hat on every eigth, bass every 1 and & 3, and a snare every 2nd and 4th beat, maybe some simple fills and a crash everyonce in a while.
Also, play the notes in cords to add more excitement. =D
