Chuck E Cheese started in Pizza Time Theatre in 1977. Showbiz Pizza Place started in 1979 with The Wolf Pack 5 and then upgraded to the Rock-afire Explosion in 1980. When Pizza Time Theater went bankrupt, Showbiz bought them out. After that, Showbiz Pizza (Time) got rid of the RAE since they didn't own them and brought CEC characters into both stores.

Chuck E Cheese sucks now. I was horrified to see them replace animatronics with stupid videos. Total crap!
