Babies need to be exposed to things like this to strengthen their immune systems so that when they're older they aren't so prone to sickness. A good lick from the family dog isn't a terrible thing.

If a lick from the loving family dog is the worst thing that happens to this child in this obviously loving mothers care then I think shes a great mother.

Why don't the ones complaining go and moan at hmmm I dunno people who beat, rape or otherwise properly abuse children.

"Dylan" is now 4 3/4...and he and Penny are still going strong! Now there's Connor, too....and their Penny is such an important member of their family. She's their little girl. Oh...and the Penny kisses? The boys are very healthy. ;-) Grammy ♥

i actually think this is pretty cool ...i heard when babies are exposed to this kind of stuff it makes them feel more surcure and they rnt supposed to be sick a lot

so i think very good parenting ;)

Our Jack Russell is SUPER protective of our best friends baby- he will lick his face too and lays under his crib. They are great dogs!

It's actually a well-known fact that the more babies are exposed to potential allergens early in life, the more immunity they build up to them. That kid will probably benefit from those sweet kisses.
