The reason my curiosity was triggered is that most of the videos I have seen on your channel is a tad high (I admit I haven't seen all of them), yet I know you are a top notch lifter with great results in official competitions, and you also have great strength all over, as I also know you are very knowledgeable, I somehow wondered if this was put into a system somehow, but I get your point now. Keep on doing what you do, you are a great inspiration. All the best!

very impressive, what federation do you compete in and what weight class?

well if you ever had any depth trouble you definitely fixed it, i'm amazed.

A 700 lbs squat, over 800 lbs deadlift and 500lbs bench thats a 2000 pounds total right there. Good job.

I admire your strength, however I have one question (and this is no disrespect): Your goal is to lift maximum weights at competitions with IPF rules? Do you find that squatting a tad high raw is more benefical to equipment 1RM strength, than going deeper with less weight on the raw sessions? I've seen a few very strong IPF lifters, that very often are too high on their squats in training, but still post big results at the meets. I would be happy to recieve a answer to my genuine question. Per

I'm training for Raw Unity right now and this is geared toward that contest. Cutting it high is unintentional.

It wasn't a critique of your lifting, it was more of a curiosity from my side, as I see many strong drugfree lifters cut their squats high in training, and I wondered if there was a philosophy behind it. I take it that you don't think it is important or necessary to get to "legal" depth on every rep in training. I must compliment you on your strength too, you are insanly strong!

I know. I would be curious, too! :)
I don't intentionally cut them high. I try to squat deep enough, but for whatever reason, about half of them end up a bit high. It is important to squat to depth, but missing depth won't be catastrophic for my training either. During the next session, I'll try to get these a little lower.
