Scything is like mopping a floor, the mop/blade should remain on the ground at all times. Not swinging like a pendulum. Still we all learned at some time and made a hash of it.

Don't be so rude - If no one tells you.. Who -younger than 60 and not a farmer- knows these days how to work with a skythe? But yes, he should have a look at some other vids here how it's done.

lol wow. Thats how you throw out your back using a scythe. your arms should barely move. just your torso should move. and that blade needs ALOT of sharpening.
