Trains at Banbury Station.

The very beautiful town of Banbury is located in rural Oxfordshire, which is situated on the Chiltern Mainline with connections to London Marylebone, London Paddington, Oxford, Birmingham, the North and the South West.

The Station at Banbury is quite a modern station with fairly new ticket halls and step-free access to all platforms, however the station still boasts Old and New Signalling systems with Coloured light signals on the mainline with the Freight and Passenger loops having Lower Quadrant GW and Upper Quadrant LMS Semaphore signals.

In this video we see Chiltern 172 & 168's, Crosscountry Voyagers, First Great Western 165, Former Wrexham & Shropshire Sets and Various EWS and Freightliner 66's.

Nice vid, how are the staff at this station?

@simpletimes222 Staff from Chiltern seemed happy for us to film while waiting for a conection, I and my friend where a approached by Community Support Officers and the BTP during the course of our visit, they simply asked what we where doing, having explained to them we where just watching trains and taking Photos/videos of the Semaphores they whished us a good day and left us to watch some trains until ours arrived.
