Clearly the corniest music ever made. How ironic that it became central some of the best progressive stuff ever. Gotta love the Mellotron story.

Errrr...no. The Sound Source is analogue looped magnetic tape with all it's wonderfull rich sound and quirky modulations according to the mechanics. This can never be done with Samples or Software. Why do you think people still use these old instruments? Because they sound and feel better!
