Ed Rotberg, creator of the classic video game Battlezone, talks about the game's development, and his time at Atari.
He also talks about the legendary US army contract given to Atari to develop a "Super Battlezone" for troop training purposes.

Taken from the Atari Collection Vol 1 + my PSX emulator. Sorry about the short clips.. but thats how they are on the disc.

  • Cool...Battlezone was my favorite game back in the early '80s. I was really good at it, too. Thanks for posting these videos!

  • I remember one day back in 1981 playing Battlezone in a duckpin bowling alley. I was doing really well until those damned missiles got all of my tanks in a matter of a minute. I became so blindingly enraged that I did a haymaker karate chop on the two controls and sheared them off completely and they went flying off in the air. The alley manager saw this and told me to get out.
