  • @logpig99 it had noting to do with being gay....everybody just danced!

  • @alekzhdo because people actually went outside and danced like this and had fun. Their kids weren't inside playing video games, they were playing in the park from noon till dusk. The adults worked out and McDonalds couldn't be found on EVERY corner, packed with already overweight people. They were just healthy times.

  • @twilightfirefly You are referring to a group of smokers (older people). Most people are referring to the youth and young adults of this era versus the youth and young adults of today. Children and young adults hardly smoked then or if they did or started, they would not have developed smokers cough. My parents and older relatives smoked back then--they weren't obese or unhealthy. It can take years for cigarettes to wreck havoc--and it does. My GM mother smoked & lived to 100. It's our diet...

  • @twilightfirefly The reports state that more people today are obese and unhealthy than at any other time in history. Life expectancy takes in to account a lot of factors. With advances in medicine and technology, people are living longer. Today, people survive more auto accidents, cancers, crime reduction, and deadly diseases that once were death sentences. One study of the Okinawan's found they heavily smoked, yet their diet was a factor for their longevity.

  • @OldskolFan Average life expectancy in the 70's was about 67 years. Life expectancy now is about 78 years. Yup, those people were sooo much healthier in the 70's with their poor medical care, undiagnosed cancers, and emphysema. Having a smoker's hack just means you're in top shape. Yup.

  • @OldskolFan I don't believe I said everybody was snorting coke. I believe I listed it as an option. Hence the word "or."

Cigarette use is the same today? No. I don't see cig vending machines on every corner these days, I don't see an ashtray every five feet in public. EVERYONE smoked back then. The whole world was a damn chimney. I saw it (and breathed it.) I have the life-long asthma to prove it.

So, life expectancy was shorter in the 70's, but you say everyone was healthier. How's that work?

  • @twilightfirefly Not everybody was snorting coke. Gee, people watch too many movies. Also, Coke was for rich White people in the 70's...Black people liked their alcohol and weed; herion was for junkies drug-addicts too. Cigarette use is about the same today. People were probably healthier because they were more active, ate less fast food. Stats prove that people are fatter today than the previous generations...

  • That's my mom in the yellow shirt and jean bell bottoms doing the high kicks @1:23

  • @twilightfirefly well healthier than today when people snort more coke than ever before and America is the 2nd fattest country in the world. I mean really look at how many people you see overweight here versus how many you would see on the street

  • @logpig99 stop watching/listening to hip hop and learn about true masculinity. it's not about sagging pants, leaning back, smacking bitches, and drinking hennessey. grow up.

  • @logpig99 GROW UP..PPL R HAVING FUN

  • @logpig99 ,,U R A DUMB ASS
