ShengShou 5x5x5 Unboxing and Review

I was very timely about getting this review out, so don't complain.

I completely forgot to mention price. I think this has MUCH better value than the V-cube 5. It's only 1/3 of the price, and V-cubes don't even have adjustable cores.

This cube is also for world record holders. Feliks used this cube to break the world record. and there is a mod that you can do to prevent lock ups. Oh, and yu used this to come close to the world record. So this cube is for every one no matter what level of cubing they are.

@convinsa I should have emphasised that it's really personal preference, and it fits specific cubing styles. What I said about tailoring to various speeds were merely generalisations.

just wondering, why do you always say "5x5x5 or 4x4x4 or 3x3x3" instead of just "5x5, 4x4, 3x3"? its the same thing.

@cityzach It's not the same thing. 3x3/4x4/5x5 implies that the thing is two dimensional. I'm pretty sure that cubes are three dimensional.

@cityzach - It's pointless to argue with her about this, hahaha. Slater and I have had the same conversation with her. It just takes too much longer to say and hear. Saying 3x3 or 5x5, etc, is easier, and people still know what you're talking about, hahaha.

As for the SS 5x5, I think it's ok, but not the best. There is a mod for it, which Feliks did to make his good, but I'm too lazy to do it. Personally, I think the V5 is WAYYYYY better than any other 5x5.

i got one i was averaging 4.15 now im averaging 3.35 did that the wr 5x5x5 isn't feliks 5x5 its florians i tried the 5x5x5 wr mine feels Alot better

rubik's brand cubes seem to be the perfect size, but they suck... :(

@AvidCuber However, everyone knows what you mean if you say 3x3. Only recently did it seem the wierd cubes come to the limelight ala 3x3x2, etc.
