Now I know what the term compelling means when describing an actor. Not only is she gorgeous and spirited in this role but true in the portrayal of a most uncommon breed of female. This clip ranks as one of My top 10.

  • Absolutely THEEEE most telling 3 words in this scene......most glad to connect with you on topic.

  • The first time I saw her was on an episode of Batman. She played the sinister Black Widow. She wore red and black and her voice was as wicked as the character she portrayed. Seeing her in this role had an equally gripping effect. This is a great clip, defintitely one of my favorites.

  • @ConfusedSponge U R absolutely right! It's a wonder, that she wasn'T black listed for her outspoken and scandalous private life !!! The career of ANY other actress would have had an end !!!

  • @SpaceCowboy641 I guessed right because this was too damn provocative for the 1930s

  • @ConfusedSponge Of course! Code started 1934 ...

  • you´re going away! lol!

  • Is this Pre - Code?

  • O My GOD !!!!

Traditional format stretched by force to panoramic !!! Terrible.

Everyone is 20 kilos fatter and 20 cm shorter !

    Terrible.

  • @MsEvaBliss That is where I discovered Tallulah as a child..and I am from the land of Tallulah ;p

  • what do you wana do after dinner baby?.....lets get drunk!! :) lol

  • @odayobalthazar Merci! the french and german people have often to less english to understand her (i understand almost every word of her) and she was a stage-actress and no typical moviestar. tO KEEP THE MEMORY OF A StAge-actor is more difficult than these of a movie-actot. Hollywood had stars, but the Broadway had a super-nova called Tallulah !
