An elegant medley from the masters! All songs are from beautiful "Porgy and Bess!" George Gershwin composed the music, his brother Ira, and DuBose Heyward are the lyricists, and here, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrew Litton, gives us their very best!

  • @Chriswren9 OH, YES - AUDRA!

  • Does someone have the record of Jubilant Sykes singing "Sometimes I feel like a lonely child"? It is adorable! Please post!

  • #FFFFFF hi

  • I have heard Jubilant sing since he was at John Adams Jr High. Then with So Cal Honor Choir 1970, then sang with him at CSUF Honor Choir and then with the CSUF University Singers and Chamber Choir. Also got to hear him perform here in Arkansas at the Walton Arts Center and joyfully got to see him after the performance. Still magnificent vocally and a dear friend to remember me. Go Jubilant Go!

  • Well, someone HAS to think that he is handsome.

  • I've seen Mr. Sykes in concert twice---he's beyond wonderful. And so very handsome.

  • During my performing days some 15 years ago, I sang this magnificent duet with a fine soprano. "Bess, You Is My Woman" almost always makes me weep, yet I managed to remain dry-eyed during the performance -- I've no idea how:) --
