One week before Christmas, members of the St. Louis Women's Chorale joined their voices in a surprise holiday treat for shoppers at the Schnucks supermarket in Des Peres, Missouri when they suddenly broke into song.

  • Was the audio really the audio that was recorded at the event though? Didn't really seem to sync up with what was going on in the video. (aka I didn't see any bells being played in the video)

  • @skiatook2009 The bells were played over the loudspeaker; the strings played live and were recorded there.

  • @TriuneCommunications Gotcha, that makes sense. By the way, good video quality and editing. Makes for an enjoyable watch

  • @skiatook2009 Thanks.

  • This brought tears to my eyes. I think I need to schedule an audition! What a beautiful and surprising way to spread Christmas Cheer!

  • @littleblackstar9 You can apply for an audition on the Chorale's website.

  • Very nice, makes one feel good.

  • 1:56...old man in a sombrero in the far left background. Who and why?

  • I like this we done a flashmob at christmas in a shopping centre and suppermarket MOBmas video.

  • The St. Louis Women's Chorale is on the move! Thank you for spreading such good chear!

  • Awesome.

  • @skiatook2009 think its funny that Schnucks has a santa and live music for the west county folks to keep them happy. I am just happy to have food that looks halfway decent, that store is twenty min away from me i might have to start shopping there, i would scare all the little white suburbanite housewives I bet.

  • I wish Ihad been shopping at that moment! Very well done!

  • Not fake! Very real! This is a live chorus, live strings, overall music was cd cut! You are one fooled MistyVista2! Merry Christmas! It is VERY real, indeed because I am very familiar with the group and the conductor!

  • It's a sweet fantasy but it's obviously a fake. Somebody made video and then stuck a nice audio in with it. Who is fooled?
