Well, Noam, I was with you up until you mentioned Willie Horton. The fact of the matter is race is a huge problem in this country and white voters have every reason to be afraid of black criminals. Whether or not this fear gives certain political elements more power or not does not change that fact.

Humans are the only animals that consciously use logic to heighten survival, contrary to other animals like insects which are uncounsciously affected by evolution, humans can speed up chances of survival by rational thinking.

Honestly, I don't think that you need to scare conservatives to get them to follow you; all you need to do is pretend to care about their values and then start barking orders. I think this fear based crap is meant to get moderates behind the plan.
