Personally I like the original movie version better. I liked that one better because there was less instrementation and to me it sounded more like a live band playing live in Jabba's palace. To me this version and the special edition redo of this scene isn't great because it sounds too clear and too orcestrated. This is still a great song, thanks for posting.

here's a better idea, george, instead of putting in a song that is incredibly silly, reshoot the Jabba's palace scene with the digitized Sy Snootles, but keep Lapti Nek

@Johnlindsey289 Yeah, i have the exact same dvd editions. It's too bad the original versions weren't anamorphically enhanced though like the special edition versions were. I still have both the original and special edition versions on vhs and laserdisc as well.

I agree, i do enjoy both versions and have them on DVD as i have the 2-Disc Edition of Original and 2004 Special Editions of each of the old trilogy replacing the original discs from the boxset and have the bonus materials. I'm glad Lucas listened to his fans and made me happy to include them as i threw my VHS copies away of the original versions.
