This is a documentory for the Field Hospitals that took place during... well... The Civil War. This was not a class project, this was completely independent and was shown to a National Mueseum of Civil War Medicine History in Maryland and agreed to put it into an "Educational Program"

  • Well done sir. I applaud your fine effort. As a medical reenactor I am impressed. If you are a C.W. reenactor, where are you based.

  • Nice video, but at 03:24 when the surgeon hoists the hospital flag that flag should have been plain yellow or yellow with a green H in the center as by army regulamentations since. Red flags identified ambulance depots.

  • what a great video thank you

  • Chippie08,you are right in saying that they used the plain yellow and the yellow with the H.However they did use the plain red.In the start of the war plain red was used by both sides, then the union medical dept. adopted plain yellow. After Antietam, the union went to yellow with the green H.The south always kept the flag plain red.
